Voldsomt flygerbehov - Hvordan finner man "The right stuff"?

On Tuesday, at the World Aviation Training Symposium in Orlando, Fla., Boeing's Test & Evaluation chief pilot for New Airplane Design, Captain Mike Carriker, emphasized the importance of training the next generation of airline pilots and technicians to their fullest potential in order to maximize the capabilities of today's advanced airplane systems.
Over the next twenty years, Boeing forecasts a need for more than one million new pilots and technicians to meet the demands of the industry. Carriker proposes a reduction in classroom training times and urges an industry-wide shift from memorization-style training to competency-based training.
