Inaer Fields Initial All-Female EMS Crew in Spain
Pilot Beatriz Parera, medic Gloria Palacios, Salobrar Sanchez and Rocio Ramos make up Spain’s first all-female medical helicopter crew, according to Avincis Group subsidiary Inaer. The crew operates a Eurocopter EC135 for the Extramadura Health Service from the Malpartida base in Cacares. Inaer flies 27 EMS aircraft in Spain, performing more than 8,000 air medical missions during 2012.
