German State Police Order EC145 T2
Germany's Landespoliz Baden Württemberg is the first law enforcement operator to order the EurocopterEC145 T2 twin-engine helicopter. The German state police force will use the EC145 T2s to replace a mixed fleet of two other helicopter types, with a total order of six new rotorcraft. Eurocopter plans to equip the helicopters with a modern mission management system configured specifically for law enforcement operators, as well as forward-looking infrared (FLIR) and daylight cameras. Delivery is scheduled to begin in 2015.
