Kuwait Airways Firms Airbus A350 Order

[Aviation Today Feb. 20, 2014] Kuwait Airways has placed an order for 25 Airbus aircraft, including 10 A350-900s and 15 A320neo family aircraft. 

 

The state-run carrier is looking to modernize its all-Airbus fleet, which currently features three A320s, three A310s, five A300s and four A340 family aircraft. 

 

“The A350-900 will strengthen our long haul route development whilst the A320neo will further boost our regional route network. These aircraft are an essential part of our ambitious growth plans," said Rasha Al Roumi, chairperson at Kuwait Airways.
