Geriatric gunslinger

Elderly man stopped for carrying loaded gun at La Guardia airport

A 94-year-old Brooklyn plumber tried to get past a La Guardia Airport security checkpoint with a loaded, "old school" .38 caliber revolver holstered on his belt for a flight to Palm Beach, Fla.

A TSA screener spotted the geriatric's gat and alerted Port Authority cops, who vouchered it. The pistol-packing passenger has a valid NYPD-issued "carry permit" for the gun, but that authorization isn't valid in Florida, nor does it allow him circumvent TSA prohibitions barring him from carrying such a weapon onto a plane, a source explained.
