Swedish National Police Gets Seven Bell 429s

Bell Helicopter has delivered seven Bell 429 helicopters to the Swedish National Police. Those aircraft will be used in Sweden for law enforcement and search and rescue, including mountain rescue, according to a Bell press release.

Among Bell's recent deliveries of the aircraft are 15 to the Turkish National Police, four to the New York Police Department and two to the Slovakian Police. "Over a quarter of the Bell 429s in service across Europe today are flying parapublic missions," said Bell Managing Director for Europe and Russia Jakub Hoda.
