E195-E2 Vmu Test
Commercial 2, an Embraer 195-E2 prototype, performs a minimum unstick speed (Vmu) test, where the aircraft lifts off the ground at the minimum possible airspeed and sometimes drags its tail skid on the runway. Vmu is a certification reference to determine operational takeoff speeds with a margin of safety for normal operations.
