NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Boeing Co. reported softening demand for its 747-8 passenger and freighter planes, prompting the aircraft manufacturer to reduce production to 1.75 airplanes per month from 2. Nonetheless, the company says it expects air cargo market growth to resume in 2014. Boeing has filled 46 of 110 orders for the planes, which it touts as quieter and more fuel efficient than other models
