Korean Air Jet Hits 2 Light Poles at LAX
A Korean Air A380 superjumbo jet filled with hundreds
of passengers hit two light poles while taxiing to its gate at Los Angeles
International Airport Wednesday.
An airline spokeswoman told the
Associated Press that airport operations directed the plane to a taxiway that
was too narrow. The airplane's right wing was scratched and two, 30-foot light
poles were scratched, but none of the 384 people aboard were injured during the
incident.
