[Avionics Today 01-16-2015] Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) has been tasked to deploy to Jacksonville, Fla. with 10 fighter aircraft to support U.S. military training. The fighter aircraft will be deployed in support of the USS Bush and USS Roosevelt Carrier training in January and February 2015. The event marks the unusual occurrence of combining two Strike Carrier Battle Groups in a comprehensive training evolution supported by 10 aircraft from ATAC.

Pilots and crew from ATAC will provide airborne training for the surface crew and Air Wing crews embarked onboard the Navy ships. This service enables current U.S. Navy warfighters to deploy, having accomplished critical readiness training with the former warfighters that make up ATAC's cadre of pilots.
