Special commissioners are examining the three offers made for Alitalia this week ahead of presenting their conclusions to the government in a long-running process to relaunch the bankrupt carrier. Alitalia received two binding bids and one expression of interest by an Oct. 31 sale deadline, the latest step in the search for a partner since Alitalia filed for bankruptcy in May 2017. UK LCC easyJet has confirmed it is one of the bidders.
