The pilot of a Bell 407 air ambulance helicopter, registration N6635F operated by Survival Flight Incorporated, experienced an apparent cardiac arrest during the landing sequence at Headland Municipal Airport (0J6) in Alabama.
The helicopter sustained substantial damage during a dynamic rollover subsequent to touchdown.
The opportune response of the two uninjured Emergency Medical Technicians, also onboard the accident aircraft, was unable to prevent a fatal outcome to the 61 year old pilot.
