AW609 Tiltrotor Makes Middle Eastern Debut

Leonardo has ferried one of the prototype AW609 commercial tiltrotors to the United Arab Emirates, where the aircraft will participate in the upcoming Dubai Expo. AW609 AC4 began the ferry flight from the Leonardo plant in Cascina Costa on Sept. 10, and it arrived in Dubai on Sept. 14.
