Spain is on a path to become the newest member of the Seahawk family. U.S. State Department on March 15th 2022 approved the sale of 8 MH-60R to Spain and clears the country to join U.S. Navy, Royal Danish Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Hellenic Navy as current operators and India and South-Korea as future operators. Spain has earlier operated a fleet of legacy Seahawk SH-60B.
