Tøfft raid mot Tokyo for 81 år siden - Museum of Flight

April 18th program and fly-in on the 81st anniversary of the "Doolittle Raid"

Museum Docent Dave Waggoner will deliver a presentation about World War II’s renowned “Doolittle Raid” over Japan on April 18, 1942. Flying to the Museum to be on display that day will be a B-25 Mitchell operated by Spokane’s Historic Flight Foundation.

The bombing run led by U.S. Army Air Forces Col. James Doolittle employed 16 B-25 Mitchells and was the United States’ first military response to the Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor.

The B-25 will be on view in the Museum’s East Parking lot, weather permitting. The lecture is FREE with Museum admission, Grumpy is on free display for all.
