Norse flight attendants share their flight experience to Antarctica

After a first leg to Cape Town, a Dreamliner flew to Antarctica.

The Boeing 787-9 landed at Troll Research Station on November 16th, 2023.

The Norse aircraft carried Norwegian Polar Institute scientists as the summer season is preparing.

But it’s also a whole new and special experiences for the flight attendants.' The Oslo based flight attendant Karen Vaje said it was her best day ever !

On Tik Tok, she shared the video of the preparations as well as the landing and photo shoot right on the snow.

She shares the story of the last moments in Cape Town (including massage and pedicure) with the crew. Karen said main part of the passengers were at front of the plane, so not much to do in the back.

Flight attendants had to change into special and warmth clothes about one hour before the landing.

The only 3 hours later, the plane had to takeoff, back to Cape Town then Oslo.
