The Bell 206L-3 LongRanger helicopter VH-JMM was  operating charter services in Arnhem Land on 14 July  this year when it hit a white‑bellied sea eagle, which  flew through the windscreen and caused serious upper  body injuries to the passenger. The bird died on impact. Read more

Brønnøysunds Avis: – Nye meldinger til politiet om droner nær Brønnøysund lufthavn

Politiet rykket ut etter meldinger om droner så nær Brønnøysund lufthavn at tårnet kunne observere dem ved 21.50-tiden tirsdag kveld.

– Vi har vært og sett etter dem. Vi fikk meldinger om droner i nærheten av flyplassen, såpass nært at tårnet kunne se dem, sier operasjonsleder Kai Eriksen i Nordland politidistrikt til Brønnøysunds Avis.

CA-1 concept: ‘From Europe, for Europe’

Named the CA-1 Europa, its appearance is similar to the Australian-developed Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat, and comparable designs intended for the collaborative combat aircraft role – also previously referred to as a ‘loyal wingman’.

 Denne har jeg rapportert om tidligere, men ikke med så mye kjøtt på beinet. Qantico er et strengt hemmelig sted som Odin Leirvåg og undertegnede kjørte forbi i fjor på vei mot Kitty Hawk. Du ser det ikke for bare skog. Jeg mener å husek at vårt eget etterretningsfartøy Marjata IV ble utstyrt der fra april 2015. Jeg hadde et innlegg her på bloggen omtrent da. (Red.)

Ja, Triton er en interessant sak for de som trenger monsteret

Dette foredraget misser jeg dessverre, og jeg har mye på hjertet om droner. Siden Triton er fremhevet i agendaen er det å si om den og broren Global Hawk: hva slags erfaring fikk vi etter at Norge, som en av 16 nasjoner, ble med i EuroHawk prosjektet i i 2015? Hva er de operative begrensningene vedr. crosswind under avgang og landing? Hva slags demper la Diesens Forsvarsstudie av 2007 på Norges utvikling innen droner? Hva gjøres i Norge når det gjelder trening av mannskaper ned til geværlag om bruken? Hvilken drone mener du at Norge bør velge? Jeg håper naturligvis på RQ/MQ-9 serien. som kan bære våpen. (Red.)
