First A330-900 of WOW Air appears outside the FAL in Toulouse

Toulouse - The first of four Airbus A330-900s of the WOW Air was photographed by a spotter outside the FAL in Toulouse. The A330-900 should be delivered to WOW Air by the end of the year.

The Icelandic low-cost carrier had announced the order for four A330-900 in March 2017, specifying a configuration of 365 seats in Economy class including 42 in "Big Seat" with more space for the legs.

The Nordic airline operator already operates three A330-300s, configured in 21 + 324 and 27 + 318. Future destinations of its A330neo are not detailed yet; but with a range of 5264.5 nautical miles (9750 km), the new aircraft could carry out non-stop flights to Hong Kong or Honolulu.

WOW air currently serves 38 destinations across Europe and North America.
