V-22 Conducts Aerial Refueling Flight Test
The Bell-Boeing V-22 program is working on a new capability for its V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, aerial refueling. In August, the V-22 completed a demonstration flight over north Texas equipped with a prototype aerial refueling system. During the test flight, the V-22 successfully deployed and retracted a refueling drogue, as two fighter jets flew behind and to the side of it.

The Bell-Boeing team has planned for future tests where the V-22 will actually connect with a receiver aircraft and complete a live aerial refueling
