USAF gjorde en stor brøler for mange år siden da de fulgte Buy American og moddet B767 i stedet for å gå for Airbus A330 maskiner som var ferdig utviklet og testet i tankfly rollen. Som vi vet ble KC-46, altså modifiserte B767, belemret meg drøssevis av feil, hvorav noen eksisterer fremdeles. (Red.)
(The War Zone) The U.S. Air Force has developed a means to launch small drones from its KC-135 aerial refueling tankers, and is now looking at adding that capability to the fleet.
