President Donald Trump unveiled a new presidential aircraft on Friday at Joint Base Andrews, Md.

The jet was formerly owned by Qatar and was given as a gift to the United States.

Torsdag: Her vil det bli mulighet å samles, men komiteen har ikke lagt noen spesiell plan.

Fredag: 

Kl 1200: Oppmøte i Vakten for de som ønsker å komme inn på stasjonen for å se på P-3C 3296 samt en omvisning og litt mingling i skvadronsbygget. Vi vil også her gi en kort brief om hva stasjonen benyttes til i dag.

Kl 1530: Besøk avsluttes.

Kl 2000: Vi har booket bord på Alfa, pizza plass i sentrum av Andenes for å se på fotballkamp Norge-Frankrike, her er det mulighet for kjøp av mat og drikke.

Lørdag:

1700: Start arrangement i Satta. Her vil det bli servert grillmat med tilbehør, dette dekkes av CREW 10 kassen. Drikke til maten kjøpes av den enkelte. Det vil være Bartendere som drifter Satta denne kvelden.

- Under kvelden så er det ikke lagt noe stramt program slik at det skal bli tid til å mimre og treffe gamle kjente. 

- Hvis noen har noe de ønsker å fortelle om, så er det bare å ta ordet. 

Kl 2400: Satta stenger.

Det vil bli transport til og fra Vakta og Satta fra ca kl 1630 og til vi får de siste ut, senest kl 2400.

Søndag:

1300: Mulighet for å være med minibuss rundt øya, planlagt er stopp på Andøya Space, Spaceport Nordmela, lunsj på Nordmela eller Marmelkroken. retur ca 1700.

Airbus and Armenia sign for six H145 helicopters  

Donauwörth, Germany, 18 June 2026 - Airbus Helicopters and the Republic of Armenia have signed a contract for the acquisition of six H145 helicopters. The agreement, which was finalised during the official state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Yerevan, recently entered into force, marking a significant milestone in the strengthening of bilateral ties between France and Armenia.

The multi-purpose H145 helicopters will be utilised for transport missions. This acquisition represents Armenia's first-ever contract with Airbus Helicopters, signaling a modernisation of the country’s rotorcraft capabilities with one of the most versatile and reliable platforms in its class.

"It is a great honour to officially welcome the Republic of Armenia to the Airbus Helicopters family. This first contract is a testament to the growing partnership between our company and Armenia, and we are proud to support the nation in modernising its aerial capabilities,” said Ludovic Boistot, Vice President, Head of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Caucasus. “The H145 is a proven workhorse that will provide the Armenian authorities with the flexibility and reliability needed for their most demanding transport mission requirements. We look forward to a long-lasting and fruitful collaboration as we develop our partnership in the coming years," he added.

The H145 is renowned for its high performance, particularly in high-altitude and hot environments, making it an ideal fit for Armenia’s diverse and mountainous geography. The five-bladed version of the H145 provides increased payload, a smoother flight experience, and a simplified maintenance regime.

In total, there are more than 1,800 H145 family helicopters in service, logging a total of more than 8.5 million flight hours. Powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines, the H145 is equipped with a full authority digital engine control (FADEC) and the Helionix digital avionics suite. It includes a high performance 4-axis autopilot, increasing safety and reducing pilot workload. Its particularly low acoustic footprint makes the H145 the quietest helicopter in its class, while its CO2 emissions are the lowest amongst its competitors.

Evidence shows a lack of commitment and the irreversible loss of A-10 combat capability is instead just months away. This September, the A-10 “Warthog” Thunderbolt II was scheduled to make its final flight. Instead, the A-10 deployed again, this time supporting combat operations over the Strait of Hormuz, striking Iranian fast-attack craft and maritime threats near one of the world’s most important shipping chokepoints. The A-10 was also the “Sandy” escort that recovered two downed F-15E airmen from inside Iran. Then, later in April, the Air Force reversed course and announced it would keep the jet flying through 2030. June 12, 2026 Operators of the C-17 Globemaster III have been reaching out to Boeing about possibly restarting the product line, and the company has been “encouraged” by these engagements. Separately, Congress recently directed the U.S. Air Force to prepare a formal briefing on the feasibility of acquiring new Globemaster IIIs. The Air Force’s C-17 fleet is critical for U.S. power projection globally. At the same time, a succession of crises in recent years has put serious strain on these aircraft, and questions have already been raised about the viability of the current plan to keep them flying through 2075.
