For det første at kapteinen greide å åpne cockpit døren. Dernest at det var en 737 flyger ombord og en handlekraftig passasjer (Brøt han seg inn i cockpit?) .. Heltemot og flaks berget flyet og de ombord.

Narrative:
A Boeing 737 MAX 8, A6-FKF, operated by flydubai as flight FZ1073 from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion (TLV), diverted to Tabuk-Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport (TUU), Saudi Arabia, after a violent altercation between the first officer and the captain on the flight deck.
The aircraft departed Dubai at 03:05 UTC and climbed to a cruising altitude of 34,000 feet. About two and a half hours into the flight, over Saudi Arabia, a fight broke out on the flight deck in which the first officer stabbed the captain. During the struggle the aircraft pitched into a steep dive, losing 14,125 feet in 29 seconds (from 30,875 to 16,750 feet), according to Flightradar24 data.
The wounded captain, covered in blood, managed to operate the release to open the cockpit door. Hearing the commotion, a group of three passengers entered the flight deck and overpowered the first officer, who was then removed from the cockpit and restrained. One of the passengers pulled back on the controls and leveled the aircraft, while two off-duty pilots travelling as passengers secured the flight deck and took control of the aircraft. The injured captain received first aid from a passenger with medical training.
After briefly entering Jordanian airspace, the flight turned back 180 degrees before heading southwest toward Tabuk. At 05:44 UTC, Tabuk ATC received a distress call requesting an emergency landing. The aircraft landed at Tabuk at around 06:45 UTC.
Tabuk airport authorities confirmed that both of the original pilots had been hospitalized, and that the attacker had been taken into Saudi custody.
Post-landing photos showed damage to the rudder, with a conspicuous section apparently missing, due to the high-speed descent.
