The Brazilian Military Police helicopter (callsign "Fenix 08" from Grupamento Aeromóvel of Rio de Janeiro (GAM)) made a forced landing under unknown circumstances in the water. One occupant, Sergent (37) died, three other occupants survived the crash.
The mission of the helicopter was to reinforce patrolling on the Red Line - route to Galeão International Airport.
