At first, Ramaphosa and Trump
struck a cordial tone in their meeting and, as anticipated, bonded over golf.
Then, as the discussion turned to the claims of a white genocide in South
Africa, which have been widely discredited,
Trump cued up a video and held a stack of news clippings intended to
