Av-magnetisering, også kalt de-gaussing, er veldig viktig for spesielt ubåter. Men overflatefartøyer kan ha en magnetisks signatur som kan sette av miner, altså få dem til å detonere. Et 3D printed fartøy kan ha veldig mye for seg og er her presentert i Australia. (Red.)
