AgustaWestland Makes New AW169, AW189 Sales
AgustaWestland announced the sale of two AW169s in the U.K. and an AW189 in Denmark. The AW169s will be used for corporate transportation by undisclosed customers while Bel Air of Denmark will operate the AW189 to expand its support of the North Sea oil and gas industry with offshore wing turbine support and ad hoc helicopter services. Both the AW169 and AW189 are part of AgustaWestland's new generation of helicopters, which includes the AW139 as well.
