Turkey's ANKA-III Attack Drone to Have Internal Weapons Bay, 1.2

A top Turkish official has divulged details of the upcoming
ANKA-3 combat drone which includes internal weapons bay and increased payload.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) boss Temel Kotil shared photographs
and features of the ANKA-3, ready to make its first flight next month, at the
Military Radar and Border Security Summit held today. The company shared images
of the ANKA-3 for the first time two days ago.
He was quoted as saying by Turkish media that the ANKA-3 will
have a cruise speed of 250kts, endurance of 10 hours with its standard payload
at 40,000ft altitude. The drone have a maximum take-off weight of 6.5 tons and
will be able to carry 1.2 tons of payload.
Ukrainian-made turbofan engine allows the ANKA-3 maximum speed
of 425 kts. The ground control station of ANKA-3, which uses the common
avionics architecture with ANKA/AKSUNGUR drones.
The stealthy ANKA-3 will be equipped with both in-sight and beyond-sight
communication. It has a 'flying wing' design without vertical stability
and an internal weapon stations. These features will allow the ANKA-3 to
take part in deep strike missions, without being seen by enemy radars.
