Royal Netherlands Navy Adds MPAS to NH90 Fleet
The Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) has received a Mission Planning and Analysis System (MPAS) in final operative configuration for its fleet of NH90s in the NATO frigate helicopter (NFH) variant. AgustaWestland delivered the MPAS, which is configured based off operational feedback from more than a year of RNLN in-service experience with a prototype MPAS that was released into service in 2011. Based on the Skyflight Planning System, the final MPAS configuration is supporting RNLN's operations with complex mission planning, including sonic, auto-protection and surveillance systems.
