Her ser du helikopteret med heis. Norske ambulansehelikoptre bør være av en slik størrelse at de kan ta heis med heisoperatør. Politiets EC135 er for marginal og bør byttes ut med denne typen.

Airbus Helicopters to Deliver EC145 T2s to Germany Police Force
Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia Police Force has ordered six Airbus Helicopters EC145 T2 airframes, with deliveries planned in 2016-2017.
A variant of the EC145 medium twin-engine helicopter, the T2 incorporates new Turbomeca Arriel 2E engines and upgrades to its main and tail rotor gearboxes, along with Airbus Helicopters’ Fenestron shrouded tail rotor and Helionix digital avionics suite with 4-axis autopilot.

In its law enforcement configuration, the EC145 T2 can be equipped with a modern mission management system that facilitates the multi-role capabilities in police missions. Its primary role of observation and surveillance is supported by forward-looking infrared (FLIR) and daylight cameras, controlled by an operator who also handles communications and data exchange with ground personnel.
The North Rhine-Westphalia Police force is one of the largest of Germany’s 12 aerial state police forces, serving the country’s most populous state. The new EC145 T2s will succeed its current fleet of Airbus Helicopters EC155s and MBB/Kawasaki BK117s.
Airbus Helicopters launched the EC145 T2 police configuration last December, selling six helicopters to the Baden Württemberg Police Force.
