Helikopter - Airbus får sertifisert sin H225 i Russland - Avionics

H225 First Foreign Heavy Helo Certified in Russia

Airbus Helicopters’ 11-ton H225 has become the first foreign “heavy-class” helicopter certified by Russia’s Interstate Aviation Committee, the company said Dec. 3. The H225 will now be available for all-weather operations in countries such as Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, which Airbus believes will benefit from the aircraft's de-icing system. This past summer, Airbus had heavily marketed the H225 by conducting a demonstration tour to the offshore community and showcasing the aircraft at the MAKS airshow in Moscow.
