Dear Colleagues,

The Pilots’ Association of Norway (Norsk Flygerforbund, NF), is updating the request for Mutual Assistance on behalf of all SAS group (including Scandinavian Airlines and SAS Ireland (SAIL) pilots sent on 28 March 2019.

We have been informed by NF that negotiations in Norway ended today at 0500 CET without any agree- ment. As a result, all SAS pilots in Norway are on strike as of today.

Therefore, NF requests, through IFALPA, to maintain the active status of the following Mutual Assistance requests, from 26 April 2019, until further notice:

·         Request for Ban on Wet Leasing (2.4.1)

·         Request for Increased Capacity (2.4.2.1)

·         Recruitment Ban (2.4.3)

·         Denial of Training Facilities (2.4.4)

·         Request for Assistance to Pilots Stranded Away from their Home Base (2.4.5)

All IFALPA Member Associations are encouraged to support NF pilots by forwarding support letters to: Cpt. Yngve Carlsen, President of NF, yngve.carlsen@flyger.no

NF will keep IFALPA and its Member Associations informed of any further developments.
