A Cessna 208 Supervan skydiving plane, D-FLEC, was destroyed when it impacted the waters of the Wadden Sea near Norderney island, Germany. The sole pilot onboard was fatally injured.
The Caravan took off from Borkum Airfield and dropped parachutists over the Norderney island at 14000 feet. The aircraft did not reache its intended destination Norderney Airport and crashed into the sea.
