SAR - CHC Helicopters åpner ny base i Tromsø - Linkedin

 

CHC Helikopterservice (CHC HS) today, officially opens a new civilian-operated rescue helicopter base in Tromsø, Norway.

Under the 10-year contract, CHC HS will provide 24/7 emergency rescue helicopters in Tromsø starting July 1,2022 and Svalbard, which  has been in operation since April 1, 2022. Our crew will include pilots, rescue men, hoist and system operators, as well as doctors from UNN. At Svalbard, we are operating two super puma (AS332L1) for the whole contract period. In Tromsø, we will use Sikorsky (S 92), before switching to super puma (AS332L1) later.

We know that our pilots and rescue crews are among the most highly trained and experienced in the world.”
