The unpowered rotor will be slowed in cruise
flight by using it to regenerate electricity to power aircraft systems.

ARC Unveils Regional
Rotorcraft UK startup ARC Aerosystems has unveiled plans to develop a
nine-passenger regional rotorcraft, the Linx P9, based on a gyroplane design
that was type-certified in Canada and the U.S. in the late 1960s. Plans to
develop the Linx for entry into service in 2028.
