Hecker: Air Defense to Be Vipers’ Primary Mission
Ukraine is taking a more cautious approach toward employing its new F-16s in the wake of a deadly crash that killed one of its most celebrated pilots, the top U.S. Air Force officer in Europe said Sept. 17. “The pilots are new to it, so they're not going to put them at the riskiest missions,” Gen.
