FrP: – Fullstendig uakseptabelt å kutte dronar på Andøya
– Dette er eit alvorleg tillitsbrot overfor både Nordland og heile forsvarsplanlegginga i nord, seier fylkestingsrepresentant Viggo Willassen i Framstegspartiet (FrP).
Partiet hans reagerer kraftig på at regjeringa vil fjerne den planlagde satsinga på langtrekkande overvakingsdronar på Andøya frå den reviderte langtidsplanen til Forsvaret.
Fylkestingspolitikarane Kassandra Petsa, Grethe Anita Andersen og Viggo Willassen meiner at kuttet er eit brot på tidlegare lovnader og at det truar den tryggingspolitiske evna til Noreg i nordområda.
Regjeringa har peika på satellittar som eit mogleg alternativ, men FrP avviser dette og slår fast at satellittar aldri kan erstatte den operative fleksibiliteten til dronane.
No ber FrP-representantane heile Nordland fylkesting om å stille seg bak følgande krav til Stortinget:
• Kuttet må bli avvist.
• Dronesatsinga må tilbake i langtidsplanen.
• Regjeringa må legge fram ein konkret og forpliktande plan for den vidare utviklinga av Andøya som militærbase.
