A United Boeing 737 en route from Dallas-Fort Worth to Denver was struck by a bird Tuesday morning, leaving a gaping hole in the nose of the plane.

According to United, none of the passengers on the flight was injured. The National Transportation and Safety Board is now investigating the incident, as it typically does following bird-strike incidents. The 737 is also being inspected for additional damage.
