Eurocopter has handed over a second NH Industries NH90 tactical transport helicopter (TTH) and seventh in the NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH) version to France’s DGA armament procurement agency. The TTH—which represents the 100th delivery for that configuration—will enter service with the French Army Air Corps, intended primarily for aircrew training at the French Armed Forces Training Center (CFIA) in Le Cannet des Maures.

The NFH is set to join a French Navy group that is based on the Aquitaine frigate by 2013. Eurocopter held a ceremony on July 27 in Marignane to hand over the helicopter duo. According to NH Industries, 11 countries have received a total of 118 NH90s through late July.
