Swiss UAV Delivers VTOL Systems to 3 German Customers

Swiss UAV announced that it has delivered three new VTOL UA systems based on the all new „Mjolnir“ to end customers in Germany  -  DLR (ARTIS),  ESG (UMAT) and the German ‚Bundeswehr’ (MUSECO).

The new VTOL UAS distinguishes itself by its modularity.The ARTIS has been fitted out with a laser scanner, the MUSECO carries a brand new sense & avoid system beside the combat proven LUNA sensors and datalinks whereas the UMAT uses a  sensor cassette being placed in the center payload bay.

The „Mjolnir“ has been developed through the last 3 years highlighting the following technical features:

1. Heavy Fuel turbine engine using F34, F44, F54 fuel
2. Parachute Rescue System for emergency cases to provide safe and smooth landing
3. Highly integrated, double redundant avionics
4. Easy to maintain concept
5. MTOW: 150kg, Rotor: 3,50m
