While practicing touch-and-go landings, the light sport aircraft (LSA) impacted the terrain at Santa Fe Municipal Airport (KSAF), Santa Fe, New Mexico. The airplane was partially consumed by the post-impact fire and the two occupants onboard received fatal injuries.
