According to today’s South China Morning Post, Hong Kong Airlines is considering cancelling its order, placed in January, for 10 A380s, worth nearly $4 billion at list prices.
It is understood that the airline is under pressure from the Chinese government over the country’s opposition to the EU’s emissions trading scheme. Last month China banned its airlines from participating in the controversial scheme.
