Eurocopter Uncovers EC175 VIP, Executive Versions

Eurocopter on Tuesday introduced the next-generation executive and VIP variants of its EC175 medium-sized twin-engine helicopter at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Both variants were designed in collaboration with U.K.-based private jet design company Pegasus Design. The VIP variant seats six to eight passengers and has three different interior options, including an avant-garde style inspired by modern sports cars, a French version with modern penthouse-inspired interior and a classical version inspired by the grand villas of Europe. 

The larger executive version of the EC175 seats up to 12 passengers and is being represented with a full-scale mock-up at EBACE this week.
