DRF Luftrettung, an air rescue organization based in Filderstadt, Germany, has received the first completed EC145 T2 from Airbus Helicopters. The new EC145 T2 will be based out of the operator’s Munich air rescue station and will be used for rescue missions. Currently, the DRF fleet consists of Airbus Helicopters EC135 and EC145, MBB/Kawasaki BK117, and Bell 412 helicopters along with two fixed-wing aircraft.
