You could be in a small group of visitors enjoying ‘The Vulcan Experience’ with XH558 on Saturday 15th September NOW BOOKING FOR SATURDAY 15th SEPTEMBER – AM and PM sessions Enjoy our unique Engine Ground-Run experience that puts you close to a live, breathing and operating aircraft as XH558 goes through her regular exercise regime – operating her controls and firing up all four Olympus engines.  This four hour experience (with at least 90 minutes next to XH558), allows you close access to Taff Stone (Crew Chief) and our volunteer technical and support teams as they put the aircraft through the monthly anti-deterioration engine and system runs on the engine ground-running bay at Doncaster Sheffield Airport. There is a choice of morning or afternoon sessions, with the afternoon always the first to sell-out. Why not make a weekend of it in the area, involve your partner or family, and then visit other attractions in the area, such as the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, after your visit?  We have collated a selection of accommodation options if you have further to travel, allowing the whole experience to be taken at a steady pace.
