H175 Wraps Up 'New World' Tour

Airbus Helicopters’ H175 this week is wrapping a three-month tour of top offshore oil and gas support locations with visits to Brazilian operators. The super-medium class helicopter visited Cabo Frio yesterday and is scheduled to be in Macaé today and tomorrow. Those coastal cities (70-90 miles east and east-northeast of Rio de Janeiro, respectively) are the main bases for operators like CHC’s Brazilian Helicopter Services Táxi Aéreo and Aeróleo Taxi Aéreo that support exploration and production operations in the offshore portion of the Campos Basin oil and gas field. The H175 began the tour in March with visits to Mexico and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico coast.
