Indian Air Force Sukhoi-30 MKI Fighter Crashed
An Indian air force Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter crashed March 15 while on a routine training sortie. Both pilots ejected safely. According to a Ministry of Defense spokesperson, the aircraft took off from an airbase in Jodhpur in the western India state of Rajasthan and crashed in nearby Barmer. Its was the third crash of Sukhoi aircraft in Rajasthan. Last May, then Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar said twin-engine Sukhois had been forced to land on a single engine 34 times since April 1, 2014.
