The Jantar STD glider impacted the runway during a low pass at Formosa Airport (SWFR), Goiás, Brazil. The glider was destroyed and the sole pilot onboard was fatally injured.
Preliminary information suggest that the pilot was doing a low pass after landing when he reported "losing the elevator".
