Helsinki To Test EVTOLs For First Aid

Flying emergency personnel to an accident site by autonomous aircraft will be tested using EHang’s two-seat EH216.

Use of autonomous aircraft for emergency care is to be tested in Helsinki in spring 2023 under the European-funded AiRMOUR project. The tests, in cooperation with HUS Helsinki University Hospital, will involve manned and unmanned vehicles carrying emergency personnel and equipment to accident sites.
