The U.S. military plans to buy up to $7.2 billion worth of Javelin
missiles for the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and international customers over the
next three years, under a contract announced Thursday.
The deal with Javelin Joint Venture — composed of Lockheed Martin of
Orlando, Fla., and Raytheon Technologies of Tucson, Ariz. — is for an
unspecified number of missile systems from fiscal years 2023 through 2026,
according to an Army news release.
