Ukrainian Drones with 1250 km Range Hit Russian St. Petersburg Port
Russian port infrastructure in St. Petersburg was attacked by Ukrainian-made drones with a range of 1250 kilometers.
Oleksandr Kamyshin, the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, made the corresponding statement.
Recall that on the night of January 18, at about 1:30 a.m., Russian air defense intercepted an aircraft-type drone in the Leningrad oblast.
The Russian media reported that three drones were used in the attack. The wreckage of one of them was discovered on the territory of the JSC «Petersburg Oil Terminal.» The port infrastructure was not damaged.
An unknown fixed-wing drone with a wingspan of 6 meters and a piston engine was carrying a warhead weighing 3 kg.
In addition, two more drones could allegedly fall in the Gulf of Finland area, 5 kilometers from the terminal.
